Six Steps to Building with Rivergum

1 – The Right Decision
Our consultants will help you choose the home to suit your budget and lifestyle.
You will need to provide your friendly sales consultant your certificate of title and a copy of any encumbrance guidelines and statutory requirements that maybe applicable as this will assist in siting your home.
From this your sales consultant will prepare a written preliminary quotation.
2 – You're Preliminary Works
For an investment of $2000 (an initial deposit) we will initiate the following:
- Contour survey
- Soil test
- Septic design (if applicable)
- Preliminary plans
- Energy efficiency assessment
Your preliminary plans will then be presented for your approval. Once this is completed we can then move onto the next step.
3 – Your Building Contract
At this stage your will receive all your final contract documentation which includes:
- Working drawings (contract plans)
- Tender price
- Final footing and civil design
- Energy efficiency requirements
Once this stage is completed, contracts signed and returned an additional $2000 to complete your deposit is payable.
Your colour selections appointment can now be made.
4 – Selections For Your New Home
Confirmation of your preliminary finance approval is now required.
At this stage you will meet with our selections consultant to add your personal touches to your new home.
Once your selection appointment is complete and all documents approved we can then move onto the next step.
5 – Approvals For Your New Home
We will apply for all the necessary statutory approvals.
A copy of final Development Approval issued by council will be provided to you along with a copy of your insurance certificate.
At this stage we require final confirmation of land ownership and unconditional finance approval which will commence the scheduling of construction for your new home.
6 – Construction is underway
We can now schedule the deliveries of materials and contractors for the construction of your new home. At this point in time we will advise you of your building supervisor and the construction start date.
